О компании
- Comfy is the AI creation engine for visual professionals who demand control over every model, every parameter, and every output. The most powerful workflow engine for visual AI.
- Unlike tools that hide everything behind a prompt box, Comfy lets you connect models, processing steps, and outputs on a canvas where every decision is visible and every step is inspectable. It gives you the building blocks to create workflows nobody's imagined yet, and share them with everyone.
- What started as an open-source project in 2023 now has 4 million users, 60,000+ community-built nodes, and 150,000+ daily downloads. It's used by artists, filmmakers, game studios, designers, researchers, and VFX houses, including teams at OpenAI, Netflix, Amazon Studios, Ubisoft, EA, and Tencent.
- We're a small, intense team in San Francisco. Our team comes from Stability AI and Google, and many contributed to the ComfyUI ecosystem long before working here. Low ego, high ownership. We work hard and demand a lot of each other, but we have fun. Everyone here is building something meaningful that will end up being our life's work.
- If this mission excites you and you view yourself as top-tier talent, your future latent self is waiting for you at Comfy.
- Check out our Github and blog. We recently raised $30M at a $500M valuation. The round was led by Craft, with participation from Pace Capital, Chemistry, TruArrow, and others.
Обязанности
- Run Yoland's calendar: Book and reshuffle meetings, protect his focus time, resolve conflicts, and work out with him how much to gatekeep. Coordinate with the team, investors, partners and candidates.
- Prep him going in, close the loop coming out: Every external, board and investor meeting gets a short brief: who, why, what we want, and when we last spoke. Afterwards, track the action items and send the follow-ups, so nothing depends on him remembering.
- Own his inbox: Triage every day, draft and send email in his voice (including founder-to-investor intros), and flag what matters in Slack as urgent or no rush.
- Track everything to done: Keep a running list of Yoland's open asks, chase the right people, and be the one accountable for "did this actually happen."
- Take projects off his plate: Pick up follow-up projects, research and doc prep, and run them without needing to be managed.
- Work with his AI agents: Set up, run and check the agents and automations Yoland relies on, and use AI yourself to get through more.
- Handle travel and logistics: Book flights, hotels and team trips, build itineraries, sort ground transport, and look after important visitors to the office.
- Keep the back office running: Act as admin across our company tools (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, GitHub, Ramp, Rippling and more), handle access requests, help with onboarding and offboarding, and manage NDAs, vendor renewals and subscriptions. Pitch in on office and event support when needed.

- Yoland is our CEO and co-founder. His week is hiring, investors, partners, product and whatever's on fire that day. We're looking for someone to run his time, inbox and follow-through so nothing slips, and who's sharp enough to take whole projects off his plate.
- This is an EA role with Chief of Staff range. The core is the work that keeps a founder moving: calendar, email, travel, meeting prep and follow-ups. On top of that, you'll run projects for Yoland on your own and help manage the AI agents and tools he uses to get work done. The scope grows as you earn trust.
- You'll report to Yoland and work closely with our operations and people team. A lot of how this role works is still being figured out, and you'll help shape it.
- Have 3+ years supporting a founder or C-level exec , ideally at a startup, not only at a big company where everything's already set up for you.
- Have strong judgement . You know when to act, when to ask, and what's actually urgent.
- Are extremely organized . You run your own systems and follow through without being chased.
- Write clearly and warmly , and can write in someone else's voice well enough that they send it with light edits.
- Are discreet . You'll see investor, board, HR, legal and finance material from day one.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy building process from scratch.
- Are fluent with modern tools and AI . If you've done something by hand twice, you're already looking for a way to automate it.
- Are calm and low-ego , and stay steady when priorities change by the hour.
- Are SF-based and want to work in person with the team.
- Transparency and proactive communication: we expect everyone to share updates, challenges, and progress without being prompted.
- First principles: we break problems down to fundamental truths rather than following convention. Decisions are driven by clear goals and real problems.
- Quality: we hold a high bar for both rigor and judgment, with a continuous feedback loop.
- Self-initiative: team members are empowered to identify and solve problems independently. We value people who take ownership.
- Hardcore: we maintain a high-intensity work environment. If the closed-source alternatives are iterating this intensely, how can we do less?
- We are background agnostic. You don't need a particular degree or a brand-name employer to apply. We value direct evidence of ability: a founder you made faster, a system you built, a mess you cleaned up
- This role is in person in San Francisco. We believe in the value of face-to-face collaboration, and being close to Yoland and the team is a big part of the job.
- We can provide visa sponsorship for exceptional candidates who demonstrate strong abilities and align with our team values.
- We do not provide feedback for the application process.
- Working at Comfy isn't for everyone, and that's totally fine. You might reconsider if:
- You need everything planned out. We're figuring things out as we go and changing direction fast.
- You see yourself as just an EA. Around here, everyone does a bit of everything, whatever needs to get done.
- You need well-defined processes. We're building the playbook as we go.
- You like having a manager checking in on you. We trust people to own their work end to end.
- You prefer waiting until you have all the facts. We make calls with incomplete info and adjust as we learn.
- You bring a huge ego to the table. We push boundaries and solve hard problems, not individual heroics.
