About the product
- Wrike’s Work Intelligence Unit is building a work delivery platform for humans and AI agents.
- MCP provides AI assistants secure, permission-aware access to Wrike.
- Skills help AI agents use that access effectively.
- GraphQL provides a structured foundation for retrieving and acting on work data.
- The role involves leading the MCP team, enabling other Wrike teams to create MCP tools and Skills, and setting product direction for GraphQL.
- The candidate will own publishing and quality of the Wrike MCP plugin across AI marketplaces, including OpenAI, Anthropic and Microsoft.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and roadmap for Wrike’s agent-facing platform working closely with core MCP and GraphQL engineering teams along with Architecture, Security, customer-facing and product teams.
- Lead the core MCP team and define roadmap for how external AI assistants and agents securely interact with Wrike.
- Define MCP standards and enable other teams to create high-quality domain-specific tools.
- Lead discovery and creation of Skills to help AI agents use Wrike effectively and establish standards for others.
- Set product direction for GraphQL and its tooling ensuring evolution improves Wrike Core.
- Own publishing, maintenance and evolution of Wrike MCP plugin across relevant AI marketplaces.
- Create approach to MCP quality, reliability, governance, documentation and developer experience.
- Collaborate with customers, partners and internal teams to identify high-value agent workflows and improve via feedback and data.
- Translate technical trade-offs into clear product decisions without requiring hands-on coding.
Requirements
- 5+ years of PM experience in technical, platform, AI, developer, or enterprise software.
- Experience with MCP and Skills including agent tool usage and guidance.
- Technical fluency in AI agents, MCP, Skills, permissions, reliability, developer experience; hands-on engineering not required.
- GraphQL experience and understanding of structured product data is a major advantage.
- Use customer research, adoption data, experiments, and feedback to prioritize and improve outcomes.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to engineers, customers, partners, and senior stakeholders.
- Proactive ownership mindset, problem-solving ability and adaptability.
Conditions
- Remote role across the European Union, with preference for Prague, Czech Republic and Cyprus.
- 5 weeks paid vacation.
