Entry-level line cook position focused on food preparation, food safety, and station operation in various food outlets.

Prepare food items, ensuring consistency and compliance with the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and waste control guidelines
Provide courteous and informative customer service in an "open kitchen" format, while ensuring that assigned station is stocked and clean
Follow restaurant guidelines concerning guest services, food and physical safety, maintenance, and equipment/space cleaning requirements at all times
Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment

High school diploma or equivalency certificate
2+ years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking
Must be willing to travel to various locations for mission critical projects
Valid state issued driver's license
Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime, weekends and holiday(s) as needed
Must pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral
Ability to carry large, heavy items unassisted (up to 25lbs)
Must have the ability to stand for long periods – up to 8-12 hours a day.
Able to perform frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of objects through entire shift
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Cook is an entry level line cook position for individuals who are familiar with basic cooking principals and techniques, have a firm understanding of all basic food safety principles, and have the ability to identify and utilize all standard cooking equipment. Daily tasks will be focused on food preparation set up, and operation of a station at one of our various food outlets according to leadership’s specifications. The cook position supports ’s success by providing quality food options that boost morale and productivity.
This is a temporary position with , for the length of time as stated, and is subject to change with minimal notice as business needs dictate.
LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 months (permanent hire conversion is possible based on performance and business need)
