Internship role assisting in menu planning and ingredient management with impact on product in a food and data-driven environment.
Обязанности
- Our Product Operations team sits at the very heart of what does — making sure the most attractive menus and the right ingredients reach the right customers, week after week.
- As a Menu Planning & Ingredients Intern, you will work across two closely connected teams, giving you a rare, end-to-end view of how our menus come to life. From shaping what lands on our customers' plates to keeping our Market running smoothly, your work will have a real and visible impact on the product. This is a 5-6 month internship based in Amsterdam, and it's an ideal role for someone who is equally energised by food and by data.
- This internship is designed to offer hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment. As an intern, you will have structured guidance to support your learning and development. We aim to create an environment where you can build practical skills, gain exposure to how operates, and learn through doing. The internship is suitable for students whose educational requirements allow them to complete an internship during the proposed period.
- During the application process, we will ask required questions regarding internship eligibility and university requirements (such as duration, documentation, or approval criteria). Please ensure you are able to provide this information as part of your application.
- Managing ingredient and recipe swaps in response to availability changes, market conditions, and customer feedback — keeping our offering fresh and on-point.
- Reviewing planned menus to drive variety, innovation, customer appeal, and create pairings for our add-on modularity.
- Foster innovation by testing new ingredients, supporting re-cook sessions, and helping ensure consistent quality across our range.
- Analyse customer feedback to surface actionable insights, translating what our customers are saying into concrete improvements to our recipes and ingredients.
- Apply your sensory skills by evaluating new and improved ingredients, contributing to the quality and taste standards our customers expect.
- Manage day-to-day operations for Market — covering everything from ingredient availability and stock tracking to pricing updates, margin calculations, and competitor benchmarking.
- Support both teams with ad-hoc analyses, tastings, and operational requests as they arise.
Требования
- You are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an HBO/WO programme, ideally with a background in business, food technology, or a related field.
- A genuine enthusiasm for food, combined with comfort analysing data and drawing conclusions from it.
- Strong organisational skills — you juggle multiple priorities without losing focus or attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and / or Google Sheets; you're confident working with spreadsheets and aren't fazed by numbers. Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
- A proactive mindset with a strong eagerness to learn.
- An affinity for sensory evaluation is a plus.
- Fluency in English; Dutch is a welcome bonus.
- Above all, we are looking for people who will make better. There are many different ways of developing skills, and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.
- Are you the missing ingredient? If this sounds like a tasty opportunity, we’d be excited to hear from you. We aim to review your profile and respond within 5 business days.
