Senior General Ledger Accountant responsible for GL accounting, financial processes, and month-end closing activities at on a fixed term contract.

Are you an experienced finance professional with a solid background in designing and managing finance processes in a complex, fast-moving environment? Does playing a key role in shaping financial processes in a global tech company sound like your ideal next opportunity? If so, we would love to hear from you! This role is a for 1 year Fixed Term Contract

GL Accounting for defined entities.
Processing of primary accounting documents and data input in ERP system.
Ensuring that the primary accounting documents are accurate and complete.
Implementing and ensuring group accounting policies and principles are followed.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Month end closing activities for defined entities.
Financial statements preparations.
Assisting different stakeholders with accounting related questions.
Assisting with audit requests.
Preparation of various regulatory reporting.

4+ years of previous relevant accounting experience.
Background working in Financial Institutions, banking area is a plus.
Previous knowledge of accounting and IFRS.
Previous knowledge of Finnish GAAP and knowledge of preparing Finnish Financial Statements
Understanding of accounting processes.
Prior knowledge of SOX Compliance matters is a plus.
Good analytical skills.
Degree in Finance, Accounting.
Prior experience in NetSuite is a plus.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Finnish language skills are strongly preferred
