Senior Full-Stack Engineer role at IDT Technologies involving development and maintenance of full-stack products using Node.js, TypeScript, and Vue, with a strong focus on AI-assisted engineering and high-quality, scalable service design.
Требования
- 6-8+ years building full-stack products, including time as the senior person on the work
- Deep Node.js and TypeScript experience across the full-stack, with production services you designed and still stand behind
- Strong relational database skills, Postgres or MySQL: schema design, indexing, query tuning, transactions, and what actually happens under load
- Comfort with non relational stores such as Redis or MongoDB, and with caching and invalidation
- Experience with queues and streaming, whether Kinesis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, BullMQ, or similar, including failure modes: ordering, duplicates, replay, and consumer lag
- Front-end skill that matches the environment; experience with Vue, React or Angular including component architecture, state management, and progressive web apps
- Real time interfaces built on websockets, ideally socket.io
- Excellent debugging skills to analyze unfamiliar production failures to root cause
- Parts of the existing platform are PHP
- Working effectively in unfamiliar code, with AI, is part of this job
- Experience deploying services that scale horizontally, tolerate failed instances and slow dependencies, and automatically adjust capacity
- Daily communication with teams in United States and Israel, explaining technical decisions to non-participants of design discussions
- You use AI tooling as a core part of engineering across the lifecycle: design, writing, refactoring, code review, and automated PR reviews
- Ability to jump in on large, complex, unfamiliar repositories proactively
- Build maintainable services with clear boundaries, readable code, tests that earn their keep, and production observability
- Focus on the end-user experience during rushes, minimizing confusing UI or extra taps
- Follow through problems to their actual end including parts outside direct responsibility, showing pride and care for merchant’s experience
