Lead strategic partnerships and business development to expand distribution in healthcare ecosystem.

The US healthcare system is complex, error-prone, and financially draining. Medical bills and insurance coverage shouldn’t be this hard to navigate. At , we’re building the one solution every American can turn to for help.
Thanks to AI and new regulations, can fight claim denials, correct billing errors, negotiate and lower bills, and make coverage easier to understand—saving people time, money, and stress. Our goal is simple: to be the American’s most trusted advocate and partner to manage their healthcare, and healthcare financial decisions.
Founded by a former Oscar Health leader, we’re a seed-stage company with $17M in funding. We’re lucky to be backed by the founders and investors at Hugging Face, Rocket Money, Oscar Health, CaseText, Forerunner Ventures, RRE Ventures, and more. We are well-funded and have solid runway.
Bill lowering is the hook. People come to us when they have a bill they can't afford or don't understand. checks it — catches errors, overcharges and denials, secures financial assistance, and negotiates with providers. That earns us the right to be connected to their insurance and their patient data, and from there runs in the background, proactively monitoring every bill to help patients lower and pay what they owe.

We're looking for a Head of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development to grow 's distribution through partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem, from benefit brokers, employers, payers and beyond.
This is a foundational hire. You’ll work directly with the CEO to build the partnerships motion from scratch, close pilot deals, and create a repeatable GTM playbook. You’ll also collaborate with our brand and product teams to ensure our partnership materials are world-class and that our value prop is crystal clear.
We’ve launched our first pilot with a large benefit brokers and know the need is real. Now, we need someone with the experience, polish, and drive to move from exploration to exploitation and scaling.
Build & manage the full BD pipeline: Prioritize high-potential verticals (broker networks, employer groups, payers, TPAs, etc.), source and qualify leads, and drive deals forward.
Close new partnerships: Lead complex, high-touch BD cycles (~2-to-12 months), get early wins live, and iterate fast.
Craft GTM narratives: Collaborate with marketing/branding to develop killer pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and partner onboarding materials.
Develop a repeatable playbook: Build the infrastructure and tools (CRM, sales ops, outreach materials) to scale our channel motion.
Represent externally: Be the face of with partners: credible, consultative, and relentless in your follow-through.

7+ years of experience in healthcare partnerships, biz dev, or strategy
Master's degree required (MBA strongly preferred)
Background in a high-performance environment: top-tier undergrad, consulting firm, or venture-backed startup
Track record of closing complex, high-value deals
Strong project management skills, you can drive multiple deals forward without dropping the ball
High integrity, low ego, and a desire to build something that matters

You get energy from being fluent in a system most people find opaque — you can talk employer benefits, payer incentives, broker economics, and TPA structures with anyone in the room.
You're comfortable being the one who carries a 6–12 month deal all the way to signature — not just the one who sketches the strategy and hands it off.
You want to build the partnerships motion from zero — picking the verticals, writing the playbook, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the CEO
You're the one who writes the pitch, not just delivers it and you know how to shift your angle mid-meeting when the room tells you to.
You care about the same problem is solving. Medical bills and insurance shouldn't be this confusing or expensive, and you want to be the reason more Americans get access to an advocate that fights for them.
