Marketing Team Lead – Plastics & Basic Polymers

We're looking for a Marketing Team Lead to own projects across our plastics and basic polymers portfolio with strategic P&L impact, based in Istanbul.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage projects in high-potential marketing areas across plastics & basic polymers
- Spot new market niches and applications for our existing portfolio — and turn them into revenue
- Partner with customers on product promotion and development, managing timelines and assessing economic impact
- Monitor demand and market dynamics across key application segments (packaging, construction, automotive, and more)
- Analyze customer needs to fuel product improvement and new solution development
- Build business cases — NPV, IRR, contribution margin — for new applications and commercialization opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and industry sales teams to deliver business plans and hit sales targets
- Prepare industry reports, market updates, and executive presentations for Senior Management
- Lead and develop a team of three Marketing Managers
Requirements
- Strong B2B marketing & sales process understanding
- Deep experience in market research, planning, and forecasting — operational and strategic
- Fluency with market analysis methodologies and data sources: foreign trade/customs databases, railway transportation data, industry sources
- Solid grasp of local market pricing principles
- Expertise in value proposition development, customer economics, and business models
- Track record defining industry/segment development and go-to-market strategies
- Experience building marketing strategies from the ground up
- Advanced MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of key economics/marketing metrics: contribution margin, NPV, IRR, CVP analysis, etc.
- Customer portfolio management — and a proven ability to grow share of wallet
- Hands-on project management methodology experience
- Proven team leadership and development
- English proficiency — B2 or higher
