Senior full-stack software engineer developing scalable backend and frontend solutions for a leading financial institution.

The technology team works on complex distributed systems and modern cloud architectures, providing an environment where engineers can work with cutting-edge technologies while solving challenging problems in the financial services industry.

Design, develop, and enhance backend applications using Java, focusing on performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
Build and maintain microservices with Quarkus, contributing to modern cloud-native architectures.
Develop and maintain frontend solutions using Angular, working across the application stack when required.
Design and implement event-driven solutions using AWS services such as SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
Work with distributed architectures and contribute to building reliable and resilient systems.
Implement and evolve observability practices, including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
Participate in architecture discussions, technical decision-making, code reviews, and initiatives focused on engineering quality.
Contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and engineering productivity.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools, such as Cursor or developer copilots, to improve development productivity and delivery quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Experience in software engineering, with a strong backend development focus.
Strong proficiency in Java, with hands-on experience developing production-grade applications.
Solid experience with Quarkus and Angular.
Mandatory hands-on experience with AWS, particularly SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway.
Experience designing and developing microservices and distributed architectures.
Understanding of event-driven architecture and cloud-based application development.
Experience with observability practices, including metrics, logging, and tracing.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Practical experience using AI-powered engineering tools, such as Cursor or developer copilots.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineering and cross-functional teams.

Experience with reactive programming, particularly Mutiny or Project Reactor.
Previous experience working with financial markets, investment banking, or financial systems.
Experience building highly scalable and resilient applications in cloud environments.
Familiarity with modern AI-assisted software development practices and tools.
