- You’ll be deep in the details: turning demand into material requirements, placing and managing purchase orders, keeping inventory in healthy shape, and finding shortages well before they reach the production line. You’ll work alongside our Hardware operations teams, including Production and the wider Supply Chain team, bringing the supply view that keeps the plan honest and visible.

- Run the clear-to-build check ahead of each production build, and lead the recovery when a shortage hits.
- Build working relationships with the people who control outcomes at your suppliers and contract manufacturers, and use them to expedite and clear delays at the source.
- Take on the persistent supplier problems in your area, such as the lead time that keeps slipping or the part that’s always the reason we’re short, and see them through to resolution.
- Manage inventory for your components with enough cover to protect production without tying up cash, and keep the settings behind it current.
- Plan the supply side of engineering changes and new product introductions, including cut-in timing, last-time buys and limiting write-offs.
