Oversee crews building infrastructure for power generation plant to support AI supercomputing facilities.
Обязанности
- You will oversee crews building the infrastructure for SpaceXAI’s on-site power generation plant in the Memphis region — including gas turbine packages and auxiliaries, fuel gas piping, process and BOP piping, pumps, heat exchangers, compressed/instrument air, water and cooling systems, plant HVAC, and fire protection. If you thrive on hands-on leadership, complex industrial mechanical construction, and delivering generation that stays online, join us to help build the power plant that supports SpaceXAI’s high-density AI supercomputing facilities.
- This is a full-time, onsite role based in Southaven, MS with relocation required.
- Oversee and coordinate mechanical installations including gas turbine and generator auxiliaries, fuel gas piping, process and BOP piping, pumps, heat exchangers, compressed/instrument air, water and cooling systems, plant HVAC, and fire protection.
- Manage and schedule on-site crews to deliver project milestones on time and to SpaceXAI’s quality and reliability standards.
- Ensure crew adhere to mechanical scope, delivering high-integrity process and BOP systems critical to generation, start-up, and plant uptime.
- Monitor daily progress of construction, maintaining detailed logs, red-line drawings, and as-built documentation for all plant mechanical infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce aggressive construction schedules while keeping the project on time and within budget.
- Champion and enforce SpaceXAI’s safety program, building a zero-incident culture across all teams working around heavy mechanical equipment, pressurized systems, fuel gas, and elevated work.
- Supervise foremen and mechanical crews, fostering teamwork and accountability in a high-stakes generating-plant environment.
- Proactively resolve on-site challenges — material delays, technical conflicts, sequencing issues, and coordination with electrical, civil, and process trades — with a strong focus on mechanical system reliability and code compliance.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with local regulations, mechanical codes, safety protocols, and SpaceXAI’s quality standards.
- Prepare and present clear progress reports, mechanical construction metrics, and risk updates to senior leadership.
- Support mechanical completion, flushing, hydrotest, first fire, commissioning, and turnover to operations.
