About the product
- As a Technical Deployment Lead on the Claude Agentic Solutions team, you will lead the delivery of custom AI agent solutions for enterprise customers in highly regulated industries.
- You'll own high-value engagements where we collaborate directly with customers to build and deploy agents into their most critical business processes.
- You will help build technical playbooks and define processes and repeatable patterns needed to scale this emerging motion.
- You will bring insights back to product and research teams regularly.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical delivery plan for each engagement with clear scope, milestones, dependencies, success criteria, and value hypotheses.
- Lead technical discovery by mapping customer workflows, identifying constraints, defining MVP scope, and shaping solution architecture.
- Run day-to-day engineering execution to keep delivery on track and make real-time trade-offs on scope and priority.
- Own product scoping, author requirements documentation, prioritize engineering backlog, and manage scope against evolving success criteria.
- Lead executive briefings, manage stakeholder communications across technical leads and procurement, and represent Anthropic's technical credibility with senior leaders.
- Define impact hypotheses, set baselines and KPIs, run pre- and post-deployment measurement, and report outcomes to sponsors.
- Build reusable delivery assets including solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and technical playbooks.
- Navigate enterprise and regulatory complexity including security reviews, legal approvals, procurement, compliance, and organizational dynamics.
- Manage scope and change, handle evolving requirements, set expectations, negotiate contract modifications, identify risks early, and escalate as needed.
- Run delivery operations such as sprint ceremonies, milestone reviews, and progress reporting.
- Travel to customer sites 25–50% to build relationships, unblock delivery, and accelerate adoption.
Requirements
- Have led AI/ML engagements or deployments in roles such as founder, data scientist, engineer, researcher, or consulting.
- Experience delivering AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions into production with understanding of solution patterns and integration approaches.
- Experience in specialized verticals like financial services, life sciences, pharmaceutical, retail, mining, agriculture, etc.
- Ability to lead architecture discussions with engineering stakeholders, evaluate technical trade-offs, and own technical direction alongside Forward Deployed Engineers.
- Track record delivering complex, high-stakes technical projects for enterprise clients requiring coordination across multiple workstreams and regulated industries.
- Executive presence comfortable representing Anthropic to senior leaders in high-stakes environments.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and bring structure where none exists.
- Builder's mindset focused on creating new functions.
Conditions
- Annual salary range: $275,000 — $380,000 USD.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
- Minimum years of experience correspond with internal job level requirements.
- Hybrid work policy requiring at least 25% in-office presence at one of Anthropic's offices.
- Visa sponsorship provided with reasonable efforts and immigration lawyer support, but not guaranteed for every role or candidate.
