Values Value is looking for an experienced Unreal Developer to work remotely on a MilTech startup developing a real-time safety and situational awareness product for the US public safety sector.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client-side features within the Unreal Engine 5 application
- Take ownership of a functional direction from technical research through implementation
- Integrate third-party APIs and SDKs, including video communication solutions
- Communicate technical requirements, risks, blockers and estimates proactively
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and System Architect
- Work with an application integrated with mobile, web and backend systems developed by other teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional programming experience in the games industry
- Experience shipping at least one title on Windows
- Strong C++ coding principles and practices
- Professional experience with Unreal Engine 5
- Solid understanding of game architecture and algorithms
- Strong understanding of multi-threaded programming
- Strong proficiency in 3D vector math, matrices and linear algebra
- Strong debugging and complex technical problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- English and Ukrainian language proficiency
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Visual Studio
- Experience with tooling pipelines that improve developer workflows
- Experience designing and implementing physics systems
- Experience working with assets
- Experience developing tools
- Experience implementing UI
