Lead full sales cycle to launch insurance programs with brokerage partners in commercial insurance.

Authentic builds the infrastructure that program insurance runs on. We partner with leading brokerages to design and manage custom insurance programs, backed by A and A- rated carriers operating nationwide. Brokers bring the data and distribution. We bring everything else: the technology, the capacity, and the underwriting expertise to stand up specialized programs at speed and build them to last. We’re a Series A company backed by top investors, including FirstMark Capital, Zigg Capital, Slow Ventures, Clocktower, Commerce Ventures, and Altai. We’ve grown over 15x in the past year with a massive market opportunity ahead.
Authentic is committed to building an inclusive working environment regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, education, age, or other personal characteristics. We believe that people do their best work when they can be themselves, and different perspectives and experiences make us stronger as a team. We’re proud of the supportive and inclusive workplace we're building together and are always working to make it even better.

This role is built for a producer who's ready for more.
If you're a commercial insurance broker who has proven you can open doors, win business, and build lasting relationships, this is your opportunity to take that foundation and accelerate—with real ownership of the partnerships you create and earnings that reflect what you produce.
As a Sales Director, you'll own the full sales cycle for launching insurance programs with brokerage partners. You'll bring your network, your producer instincts, and your hustle. We'll bring the product, the underwriting, and a comp structure where your earnings actually track your performance.
Own the end-to-end sales process for launching insurance programs with brokerage partners—from first conversation to signed partnership to premium on the books
Leverage and expand your network of brokerages to generate new partnership opportunities
Work directly with our underwriting team to structure programs and drive premium growth
Manage your pipeline in the CRM with rigorous, up-to-date records and clean sales reporting
Shape our go-to-market strategy and help scale Authentic's distribution partnerships as we grow

4+ years in commercial insurance, ideally as a producer or broker at a retail or wholesale brokerage
P&C experience preferred, though we're open to other commercial lines if you have a proven track record of winning business
You've demonstrated you can generate opportunities and build relationships—you may not have a massive book yet, but you know how to hunt and you're ready to accelerate
A natural relationship builder who connects the dots between what a client needs and what's possible
Entrepreneurial and self-directed—you want to be paid for what you produce, not for showing up
Comfortable with ambiguity and the pace of an early-stage startup

Base salary of $120,000–$150,000 with uncapped performance-based incentives of $100,000+. Producers hitting targets can expect $250,000+ OTE, and there's no ceiling beyond that.
We designed this structure deliberately: a solid base with real upside for people who perform. If you're the kind of producer who'd rather bet on your own ability than optimize for a guaranteed number, you'll like it here.
Competitive salary, equity, and role trajectory
Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family
401(k) plan with company match
Unlimited PTO
Paid parental leave

Authentic helps insurance brokers create better insurance products for their clients. We provide the technology platform and behind-the-scenes support that lets brokers build custom insurance solutions for specific industries or customer groups. Think of us as the operating system that powers these specialized insurance offerings. For brokers, this means they can offer unique products their competitors don't have, earn more money, and spend less time on paperwork and administrative tasks. We handle the complex (technology, compliance, and partnerships with highly-rated insurance carriers), so they can focus on serving their customers and growing their business.
Real ownership. You're not feeding a senior producer's book. Every partnership you build is yours.
A differentiated product. You're not selling the same coverage as the shop down the street—you're giving brokerages a way to launch their own programs, which is a conversation they haven't had before.
Ground-floor timing. Authentic is growing fast, and the people who build our distribution engine now will define what this company becomes.
