- Simple Life is a health-tech application with 100+ million users.
- Infrastructure technology stack includes AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Terramate, Atlantis, EKS with Karpenter, Cilium, Istio, ArgoCD, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, and Prometheus-compatible metrics.
Responsibilities
- Work day to day on AWS, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD setup, observability, and participate in on-call rotation.
- Focus on automation by investing in tooling rather than running repetitive manual tasks.
- Develop tooling primarily in Go programming language.
- Operate and maintain production systems on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Engage in problem-solving for complex, ambiguous production incidents to find root causes.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience operating production systems on AWS and Kubernetes with on-call ownership.
- Solid working knowledge of AWS including VPC, IAM, EKS, and RDS.
- Practical experience with Terraform and GitOps-style delivery workflows such as ArgoCD, Atlantis, Flux, or similar.
- Comfort writing code with some prior experience or willingness to learn Go.
- Strong written and spoken English and good communication skills to collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams.
- Ability to handle ambiguous problems and work through them methodically.
- Willingness to work schedule overlapping with European time zones.
