Requirements
- Applicants must self-identify as from a Black heritage, including mixed Black backgrounds.
- Must be UK nationals or have completed part of their education in the UK (Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD) or hold/have held a postdoctoral researcher position in the UK.
- Must hold a PhD (or expect to complete it by funding start) with less than 24 months postdoctoral experience.
- Proposed research must fall within natural sciences including biological research, biomedical sciences, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, and physics.
- Researchers of any nationality are eligible provided they want to conduct research in the UK.
- Applicants requiring visas may apply for a Global Talent Visa via fast-track endorsement.
