Tango is hiring a Senior ML / AI Engineer to own and implement AI features using LLMs and train specialized models. The role involves collaborating with product managers and monitoring deployed models in production at their Limassol office.
Responsibilities
- Own and implement AI features in production, leveraging LLMs and your own models.
- Train specialized models for tasks like content moderation and recommendation.
- Collaborate with product managers to turn goals into scalable solutions.
- Evaluate and decide on build vs. buy strategies based on quality and cost.
- Monitor deployed models for performance and make necessary adjustments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience, with hands-on LLM and model training.
- Proven ability to deploy models under real load and optimize for latency.
- Strong Python and PyTorch skills, with solid ML fundamentals.
- Experience with production monitoring and versioning of models.
- English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time inference on live video/audio.
- Familiarity with recommendation systems and multimodal work.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
