We’re looking for a Senior Game Designer to independently own game features from concept to release and contribute to the growth of the mid-core fantasy game Age of Magic through gameplay decisions and data-driven insights.
About the product
- Age of Magic is a mid-core fantasy battler with a complex economy, a rich universe, multiple game modes, and 164+ characters.
- The project has been evolving since 2018: around 10,000 players have been with us since launch , while nearly 50,000 players have been playing for more than two years .
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end: concept → documentation → implementation → release → performance analysis.
- Create new content and develop existing systems.
- Work on combat and economy balancing.
- Analyze released features and product metrics.
- Improve configurations, documentation, and workflows.
- Contribute to product planning and future development.
Requirements
- Strong gaming experience in RPG / Team Battler games, on mobile and PC.
- Experience designing game systems and working with game balance.
- Experience working on live mobile games.
- Understanding of mobile game monetization, including in-app purchases and advertising.
- Understanding of LTV, ARPU, ARPPU, Retention, and how game design decisions affect product metrics.
- Conversational Russian and English.
- Basic knowledge of statistics.
- Ability to use AI as a tool while taking full ownership of your decisions.
- We’re looking for an independent, systematic, detail-oriented designer who enjoys hands-on work and takes ownership of getting things done.
