About the product
- Predictions, Analytics and A/B testing: three connected products under one owner.
- The prediction engine: what it forecasts, how accurate it has to be, and how we prove that to a customer.
- Dashboards are currently slow; you find out why and fix it with the team.
- ML capability exists but hasn't shipped; you decide where it goes, or whether it goes at all.
Responsibilities
- Own Predictions, Analytics and A/B testing products as a single product owner.
- Lead a small ML team deciding their work and whom to add next.
- Determine forecasting accuracy and communicate value to customers.
- Analyze and resolve issues with slow dashboards.
- Decide on the deployment of existing ML capabilities.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with code or models sufficient to make technical decisions independently.
- Strong maths and classical ML knowledge, able to argue model choices, metrics, and horizons.
- Proven ownership of a product, not just backlog, with demonstrated impact from recent shipments.
- Proficiency in SQL and habit of verifying numbers independently.
