- As a Systems Engineer, Land, you will define the system architecture for one of 's land defence programmes and keep every customer requirement traceable through to software and hardware design. You will run integration, verification, validation, qualification and certification, so that capability reaches land forces on schedule and to contracted quality and cost. Several project teams will look to you for guidance on reliability, availability, maintainability and safety, and for the quality protocols that keep the programme compliant with defence standards and government regulation. You will work with software architects and engineers to turn system-level requirements into working software, and with customers and industry partners to agree how we mitigate risks to programme milestones.
