Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based infrastructure such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms (Azure).
- Develop and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines to automate code deployment and testing.
- Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high system availability and quickly resolve issues.
- Work closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of software and infrastructure projects, maintain a reliable and scalable infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with data security policies and industry standards, such as GDPR and SOC2.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, system availability, and security to ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement best practices for system and network security, including vulnerability assessments and compliance management, to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- More than 3 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and technologies(Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana,ELK, Datadog, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Competence in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, or similar.
