- • Serve as the product expert for your domain — representing customer needs internally and translating them into clear requirements.
- • Contribute to team-level strategy discussions and help shape the broader Mortgage product roadmap over time.
- • Identify opportunities to incorporate modern capabilities — such as AI/ML-assisted decisioning, intelligent automation, and API extensibility — into your product area.
- • Stay current on mortgage lending trends, fintech competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments (CFPB, TILA, ECOA, fair lending) relevant to your domain.
- • Champion thoughtful UX and API-first design patterns that keep Mortgage competitive with emerging fintech challengers.
- • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant product management experience.
- • Proven track record of owning a product area end-to-end — discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration.
- • Experience managing API-integrated software products with multiple stakeholder groups.
- • Strong command of agile methodologies and modern product discovery practices (Jobs-to-Be-Done, continuous discovery, etc.).
- • Analytical mindset — comfortable using data and product analytics tools to drive decisions and measure outcomes.
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complexity and align diverse stakeholders.
- • Deep customer empathy — you've invested real time understanding users and translated those insights into shipped improvements.
