Tango is hiring a Senior ML / AI Engineer responsible for building and adapting LLMs, training models, and shipping AI solutions in production. The role offers official employment in Cyprus with visa support and a comfortable onsite office in Limassol.
Responsibilities
- Own the problem, turning goals into AI solutions in production.
- Build and adapt LLMs; fine-tune or distill models for performance.
- Train your own models, handling data collection and evaluation.
- Decide on build vs. buy based on clear metrics and constraints.
- Ship features to production and monitor for effectiveness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience with strong software skills.
- Hands-on with LLMs: retrieval, tool use, and context engineering.
- Proven experience training models on real production data.
- Proficient in Python, PyTorch, and GPU utilization.
- English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time inference, content moderation, or recommendation systems.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
