Responsibilities
- Build and scale AWS infrastructure behind Salmon's banking and lending platform.
- Craft, develop, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure supporting Salmon's products.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that keep application deployment fast and reliable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship and support production systems end to end.
- Own the design and management of AWS infrastructure across EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, VPC, Lambda, and more.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitLab-CI, and FluxCD v2.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health, and resolve issues quickly to protect production availability.
- Drive automation of infrastructure and deployment processes using IaC tools including Terraform, AWS CDK, and Ansible.
- Ensure infrastructure and deployments follow security policies and industry best practices.
- Ensure the resilience and availability of production systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud, Infrastructure, or Software Engineering.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, VPC, Lambda, and more).
- Strong command of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, Ansible) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes — EKS/ECS).
- Proficient in Python, Bash, or Golang, with hands-on CI/CD experience (GitLab, GitLab-CI, FluxCD v2).
- Solid grasp of networking principles and protocols, plus experience with Istio service mesh.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, AlertManager, and Grafana.
