We are looking for a hands-on Technology PMO Lead to improve how work is planned, prioritised and managed across Technology.
The role will establish a clear view of the Technology portfolio, covering strategic initiatives, projects and material BAU activity. It will bring together business demand, Technology capacity and existing commitments so that delivery choices and trade-offs are understood, priorities are agreed and the impact of new requests is transparent.
Working closely with the CTO, Technology leadership, Finance and investment teams, the PMO Lead will provide clear and realistic information about what can be delivered, when and with what resources. This will enable better decisions, clearer accountability and greater transparency between Technology and the business.
This is an opportunity to build a pragmatic PMO capability in a fast-moving hedge fund environment. The emphasis will be on improving decisions and delivery while supporting the speed and autonomy required by the investment business.
Hands-on, organised and willing to work through the detail.
Pragmatic and focused on outcomes rather than process.
Comfortable operating with ambiguity and changing priorities.
Calm under pressure and able to communicate issues clearly.
Persistent in following through actions, decisions and commitments.
Able to introduce structure and discipline without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
