About the product

Finom delivers an all-in-one financial B2B solution integrating banking, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a mobile-first platform.
The product serves hundreds of thousands of businesses across Europe with invoicing and AI-enabled accounting features.

Responsibilities

Guide a cross-functional team (5-10 engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA) in delivering products creating real value for hundreds of thousands of businesses across Europe.
Communicate clearly with engineers, product managers, and executives, focusing on product, users, and business impact.
Challenge problem framing with PM partner, ensure the team solves the right problems, and think in terms of business outcomes, not just technical outputs.
Discuss retention and conversion funnels alongside system architecture and help the team understand ROI to prioritize work.
Balance feature delivery with technical debt, keeping scalability in mind while ensuring the team ships at pace.
Make technical decisions through explicit trade-offs and help everyone understand the rationale behind choices.
Own outcomes and people management: conduct meaningful 1:1s, create growth plans, lead hiring and promotions.
Build engaged teams through honest feedback and coaching to increase productivity via better tools, processes, and fewer bottlenecks.
Drive predictable delivery by partnering closely with Product and Design, communicating priorities, risks, and constraints, and encouraging healthy debate toward consensus.

Requirements

5+ years of software development building data-intensive production systems.
Proven track record leading cross-functional engineering teams.
Deep technical knowledge: hands-on experience with at least one of C#/.NET, Java/JVM, JavaScript/Node, Go.
Experience with distributed architectures, databases, messaging and queueing systems.
Experience in product-led organizations, ideally with international scope.
Strong business acumen connecting engineering work to revenue, retention, and trust.
Comfortable with product metrics (DAU/MAU, retention, conversion funnels).
Exceptional communication in English across all audiences.
A builder's mentality: caring about shipping great products and growing great teams.
