Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and debug backend services (sync + async workloads)
- Own features end-to-end: architecture, implementation, observability, and performance
- Collaborate with Product/Design/Engineering to ship production-ready functionality
- Write clean, maintainable code with strong testing practices
- Improve reliability and scalability (latency, throughput, resilience, cost)
- Participate in code reviews and help uphold strong engineering standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Golang experience and solid service-oriented architecture skills
- Production experience with cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS)
- Hands-on with modern backend tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, Kafka (or equivalent)
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Comfortable being backend-heavy while still contributing to React when needed
- High ownership, independence, and ability to deliver with minimal guidance
Nice to have
- Experience with experimentation or growth platforms (A/B testing, feature flags, etc.)
- Strong observability habits (metrics/logging/tracing, incident response)
- Prior experience in highly regulated, fintech, or high-compliance environments
- Exposure to crypto / Web3 (not required)
