Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our finance data domain.
- Make sure the numbers behind reporting and planning are accurate, reliable, and easy for the business to trust.
Requirements
- Strong Python and SQL skills.
- Experience with dbt and building data models.
- Commercial experience working with financial or payments data.
- Experience with reconciliation and data-quality processes.
- Fluency in Russian.
- Confidence working with messy, duplicated, delayed, or inconsistent data.
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work autonomously.
- Comfortable digging deep into data and explaining complex issues to Finance and business stakeholders.
- Genuinely enjoys investigating why numbers don’t match, finding the root cause, and building systems that make finance data more reliable over time.
