Simple is an AI-powered health coaching app with 17M+ downloads and 300K+ 5-star reviews. We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to take ownership of our finance data domain and ensure reporting and planning numbers are accurate and reliable.

Responsibilities
- Owning finance data end-to-end
- Building and improving data products for Finance: reports, alerts, automations, and financial models
- Working with Python, Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and Pigment
- Running reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Building monitoring for data freshness, completeness, and quality
- Troubleshooting data incidents and driving them to resolution
- Working closely with Finance, payment analysts, and data engineers
- Developing LLM agents to improve analysis, documentation, tooling, and automation across the finance data stack
Requirements
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience with dbt and building data models
- Commercial experience working with financial or payments data
- Experience with reconciliation and data-quality processes
- Fluency in Russian
- Confidence working with messy, duplicated, delayed, or inconsistent data
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to work autonomously
- Comfortable digging deep into data and explaining complex issues to Finance and business stakeholders
