Wiztech is hiring a Senior Data Engineer / DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on ClickHouse production experience to join their Data & Infrastructure Engineering team in Limassol, Cyprus.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain & scale ClickHouse clusters
- Work with sharding, replication, MergeTree & performance tuning
- Own backups, failover & disaster recovery
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines, including Kafka rarr; ClickHouse
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform/Ansible CI/CD
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus Grafana
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform reliability
Requirements
- 5+ years in Data Engineering, DevOps/SRE or DBA
- Strong hands-on ClickHouse production experience must-have
- Strong SQL Linux
- PostgreSQL/MySQL or other database experience
- Docker/Kubernetes IaC
- AWS/GCP/Azure
- Python, Bash or Go
- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or GitHub Copilot
Nice to have
- Kafka
- OLAP platforms
- BI tools
- ClickHouse/open-source contributions
