We are looking for a Legal Counsel in Limassol office to provide comprehensive legal support across multiple jurisdictions focusing on commercial, corporate, tax, migration, and regulatory matters.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to internal teams on commercial, corporate, tax, migration, and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of legal documents, especially commercial agreements with vendors, partners, agents, and service providers, with a focus on license, merchant, partnership, and marketing agreements
- Conduct legal research, monitor legislative updates, and prepare clear summaries, reports, and presentations to support decision-making
- Lead or support legal projects, coordinating with internal teams, external advisors, agents, and law firms on corporate, banking, financial, and compliance matters
- Prepare and submit documents to authorities and liaise with governmental and regulatory bodies when required
- Assist in developing and maintaining internal compliance guidelines, documentation, and policies
- Identify legal risks, propose practical solutions, and provide insights on legal trends that may impact the business
Requirements
- A law degree from a recognized university
- At least 5 years of experience as a lawyer, ideally in IT, FinTech, iGaming, or a similar industry
- Fluent written and spoken English (a must)
- Strong knowledge of contracts, intellectual property, corporate law, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Sharp analytical skills, legal research capabilities, and sound judgment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation and processes
- Strong self-management, time-management, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
