Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven work experience in a GL accountant or general accounting role, preferably in shared services and audit.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
Adept at navigating ERP systems and specialized accounting platforms, with Oracle NetSuite expertise considered a significant asset.
Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflow efficiency
ACCA (part-qualified or pursuing) is a plus
Experience supporting multi-market or regional finance operations

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries and monthly management account
Conduct analysis of financial data in management account to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and support.
Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries.
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend necessary adjustments.
Provide guidance and accounting advice to team members whenever necessary.
Identify opportunities to improve GL processes and drive efficiency through automation and AI tools
