Builds structured regulatory knowledge for AI-driven infrastructure permitting and compliance software.
Обязанности
- is building the regulatory intelligence layer for how America builds energy and critical infrastructure. Your job is to build the knowledge underneath it.
- We're looking for a detail-oriented environmental or permitting professional who can turn complex laws, regulations, and agency guidance into structured, scalable data; the kind that powers software used across thousands of projects.
- This is a role for someone who can move between deep focus and big-picture thinking: digging into zoning codes and agency guidance one hour, and the next hour strategizing about how that logic should be modeled so it holds up in every jurisdiction we add.
- Research and interpret federal, state, and local regulations across jurisdictions
- Structure and tag regulatory information so it can power automation and compliance workflows
- Review and quality-check 's regulatory datasets for accuracy and completeness
- Find the ambiguity, edge cases, and contradictions others miss, then define how we handle them
- Communicate product gaps, workflow problems, and data quality issues clearly to engineering and product
- Work alongside engineers, product managers, and domain experts to turn complex regulations into structured logic
- Build the internal methodologies, documentation, and quality standards this work runs on
Будет плюсом
- Familiarity with NEPA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, or state equivalents
- Experience interpreting statutes, regulations, permits, contracts, or technical standards
- GIS or spatial dataset experience
- Prior experience in environmental consulting, data QA, or government permitting
- AI or data product experience
Другое
- is rebuilding how America builds infrastructure.
- There's over $2 trillion in infrastructure projects stuck in regulatory purgatory across the US right now. Every power plant, transmission line, data center, and pipeline faces the same reality: navigating thousands of federal, state, and local regulations through broken government websites, expensive services that miss critical requirements, and bespoke tools that only work in one state.
- We've built the AI platform that aggregates 1,500+ geospatial data layers and regulatory intelligence to generate expert-grade permitting, siting, and regulatory compliance insights in hours instead of weeks. We're working with publicly traded energy companies and the developers building the infrastructure backbone of America's energy transition.
- You've worked in permitting, environmental compliance, land use, or regulatory analysis for several years
- You're exceptionally detail-oriented and notice inconsistencies others miss
- You think critically instead of working down a checklist
- You can get your bearings quickly in an unfamiliar regulatory framework
- You write clearly, concisely, and with precision
- You separate observation from conclusion, and surface problems before proposing solutions
- You enjoy turning complex information into simple, scalable systems
- You're comfortable balancing repetitive quality control with independent critical thinking
- You want to build a software product, not produce one-off consulting deliverables
- Put yourself in the customer’s shoes. We care deeply about serving our customers above all else.
- No job is too small. Details matter, even if nobody will ever see them.
- Every problem is an opportunity. Any solution that is clever, difficult to reproduce, or takes serious guts is an opportunity to widen our moat.
- To go far, go together. We trust, respect, win, and lose together, as a team.
- Own the problem. Not your solution. Best idea wins.
- It doesn’t get easier. We just get faster. There is no finish line. Every day is a step toward compounding success. This is a marathon toward excellence.
