Develop backend systems for an AI-powered regulatory compliance platform for US companies.

- You contribute fresh perspectives in a variety of domains, including large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security
- You know how to design, develop testing, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions
- You are comfortable managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, and demonstrate leadership capabilities
- You are eager to address some of the most challenging issues in technology and create a significant impact on users worldwide
- You love being mission driven and want to join an early stage Silicon Valley based startup
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with full stack development or back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, or front-end including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or equivalent
- Experience with backend architecture, databases and data storage architectures

- 6+ years of experience in backend such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience in the full product lifecycle including gathering technical requirements, solution design, implementation, and productionization.
- Experience with highly scalable backend architectures; sharded DBs; SQLs, NOSQLs, Blob and KV stores and combinations of those
- Understanding cloud architecture and limits.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with teams within and outside of the core team and across sites.
- Team player and proactive in proposing solutions when faced with ambiguous software engineering problems.
- Note 1: previous work references might be required and checked.
- Note 2: AI-generated applications will be automatically rejected. Be real.
- Note 3: Physical presence in Prague is required (hybrid model allowed and supported but assume that you'll have to come to the office).
