Senior DevOps Engineer role in a fast-growing fintech business building payment infrastructure for international markets.

- Fast-growing fintech business building payment infrastructure used by merchants, fintech and payment providers across multiple international markets.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Manage containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Improve platform reliability, scalability and performance
- Implement Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Build monitoring, alerting and observability solutions
- Manage security controls, secrets management and access policies
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Optimise cloud costs and infrastructure efficiency
- Work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and developer experience
- Contribute to platform architecture decisions
- Support production incident management and root cause analysis
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering
- Deep experience with AWS
- Experience managing Kubernetes environments
- Strong Docker experience
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Ownership mentality
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Security-conscious mindset
- Excellent communication skills
