- As the North Island Driver Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of BeFresh New Zealand’s last-mile deliveries across the North Island. You will lead the onboarding, rostering, compliance, and ongoing supervision of drivers and delivery partners to ensure high standards are met.
- This role is based in Auckland (Penrose) and reports to the Associate Director Fulfilment .

- Oversee driver and contractor onboarding, training programs, and portal management.
- Manage driver allocations, week-over-week rostering, and daily operations monitoring.
- Ensure all drivers are properly licensed, certified, and compliant with delivery standards and transportation regulations.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and compliance across the fleet.
- Manage driver incidents using existing internal tools and systems.
- Act as the Customer Care liaison overseer for all driver relations.
- Handle error management, operational communications, and oversee hardware/asset management (devices, equipment).
- Travel regionally to visit local depots and subcontractor drivers across the North Island.
- A strong, approachable leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a broader logistics team.
- A proactive problem solver skilled in error handling and fast-paced ops management.
- Adaptable and willing to travel regionally to support regional depots and sub-contractors.
