Global Financial Controller role at SoftGamings with responsibility over financial and tax accounting under IFRS and local GAAP standards, tax compliance, process optimization, and team management, remote/hybrid/office worldwide.

Responsibilities

Development and implementation of a unified accounting policy (financial and tax).
Full responsibility for the maintenance, accuracy, and timeliness of financial and tax accounting under IFRS and local GAAP standards.
Control over tax burden, compliance with regulatory requirements, and management of tax audits and inspections.
Optimization and automation of accounting processes (period closing, consolidation) to improve efficiency.
Management of a team of chief accountants, ensuring their training and a consistent approach to work.

Requirements

Higher education in Economics / Finance / Accounting.
At least 4 years of experience in finance / accounting, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role within an international company.
Strong practical knowledge of IFRS and international taxation.
Experience in undergoing audits and interacting with tax authorities.
Experience in implementing or optimizing ERP systems (1C).
Proven skills in managing a distributed team (5+ people).
Fluent English (sufficient for business correspondence and negotiations).
