We are looking for an experienced Java Team Lead to lead a team of developers and drive the technical evolution of a large-scale enterprise application.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, providing technical guidance and supporting professional growth.
- Drive architectural decisions and ensure alignment with long-term product strategy.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical planning.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and production support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and system improvements.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical debt.
- Support CI / CD processes and promote engineering best practices.
- Contribute to modernization initiatives, including migration towards microservices and cloud-native architectures.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Previous experience in a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Senior Developer role with mentoring responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Docker and modern DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience leading technical discussions and making architecture decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging platforms.
- Experience working with legacy systems and modernization initiatives.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with JSP / Servlet-based applications and AngularJS integrations.
- Fluent English for communication with international teams.
