React Native Engineer role to develop and maintain a health coaching platform based in Central Asia focused on nutrition, fitness, and sleep data.
About the company
- YALPIZ is a health coaching platform and ecosystem built around data—nutrition, fitness, sleep. A live app with real users on one codebase.
Responsibilities
- Own the React Native / Expo app end to end—ship it, watch it, fix it
- Drive down crash rate and ANRs. Crash-free sessions is a number you're accountable for
- Smooth the experience: startup time, jank, slow screens, flows that break
- Build and maintain the web surface (React)
- Work against Supabase—Postgres, auth, edge functions, RLS
- Own releases to the App Store and Google Play
Requirements
- 3–5+ years commercial engineering—shipped, not tutorials
- At least 2 apps you built, live right now on the App Store or Google Play. Send the links
- React Native + Expo in production. You know the native pitfalls, not just the JS
- React for web
- Supabase or an equivalent Postgres backend—you understand RLS, migrations, auth
- You've read a crash dashboard (Sentry / Crashlytics) and driven a number down. Tell us which number, and by how much
- You profile before you optimize. You know what's cheap and what costs three weeks
- You push back on the founder. That's the job, not a risk
Nice to have
- Python / Django
- Native modules (Swift / Kotlin) for when Expo isn't enough
- Mobile CI/CD (EAS, Fastlane)
Conditions
- Ownership of the whole client stack—mobile and web
- Conditions written down before you sign
- Early team member in a growing AI health company
- Official employment with YALPIZ LABS. Salary, contract, contributions, on time
- Office in the heart of Tashkent
- Direct line to the founder. Your work ships in weeks, not quarters
How to apply
- Include the last hard bug you fixed: what broke, how you found it, what you changed.
