Mid/Senior React & TypeScript Developer to build and maintain full stack JavaScript applications including frontend React and backend Node.js APIs.

- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript
- Develop and maintain Node.js backend services and RESTful APIs
- Design and optimise database schemas and queries (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, build, and deployment
- Deploy, configure, and manage application infrastructure on AWS
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following engineering best practices
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the stack, including in production
- Produce clear technical documentation for APIs, services, and deployment processes
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing

- We are looking for a Mid/Senior React & TypeScript Developer to join our engineering team. This role will require you to work on both internal and customer-facing systems, including our AI-enabled support portal that serves customers across the globe. You will design, build, and maintain full stack JavaScript applications — from responsive React front ends to Node.js APIs — while contributing to the CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure that support them. You will work closely with product, design, and QA to deliver reliable, well-tested features.
- 5+ years of professional full stack JavaScript development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with React, including hooks, context, and component architecture
- Solid Node.js backend development experience
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Practical experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Working knowledge of AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals: testing, debugging, and performance optimisation
- Desirable Skills
- Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with GraphQL
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Agile / Scrum experience
- AWS certification (e.g. Solutions Architect, Developer Associate)
