Responsible for testing spacecraft and components in simulated space environments and maintaining environmental test lab equipment.

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in test, manufacturing, or production environments
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted
- Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends during critical test campaigns (24/7 operations)
- Capability to work 12-hour shifts during mission-critical operations
- Shift Start Times:
- 1st shift - 6:00am
- 2nd shift - 3:30pm (start time may vary based on operational needs)

- Familiarity with spacecraft components and environmental testing procedures

- As an Environmental Test Technician you will have the unique responsibility of testing our spacecraft, its sub-assemblies, and components through the simulated harsh environments of space. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining our world class environmental test lab to ensure its equipment and facilities are always ready to support mission critical test campaigns.
- Independently operate thermal vacuum (TVAC) chambers, thermal chambers, and electrodynamic shakers for component and vehicle-level testing
- Utilize a wide range of test equipment and data acquisition systems, including building and maintaining specialized test setups
- Proficiently use a variety of software tools and services for test automation, data analysis, documentation, and procurement
- Perform tests and verifications of flight hardware to test requirements, documenting results in a clear, precise and complete manner to meet product quality standards
- Responsible for maintenance and calibration activities of test equipment
- Interpret drawings, specifications, assembly procedures, test procedures, etc.
- Support engineering troubleshooting and root cause investigations
- Assist with area efficiency and 5S improvement projects
- Use mechanical hand tools and torque wrenches for various test setups
