Develop visual concepts and character/environment designs for animated projects using traditional and AI-assisted tools.
Обязанности
- Develop visual concepts for animated projects: characters, environments, and key moods
- Design characters — from exploration sketches to turnarounds and expression sheets
- Create background art that defines the world, lighting, and atmosphere
- Build style frames that set the artistic direction for the team
- Work closely with the creative director and animation team, iterate fast
- Experiment with AI-assisted workflows where they add speed or quality
Требования
- Strong portfolio in character design and/or environment art for animation — this matters more than your CV
- Solid foundation in composition, color, lighting, and anatomy
- Flexibility across visual styles
- Photoshop, Procreate, or equivalent; 3D tools are a plus
- Understanding of animation pipelines
- Curiosity about generative AI tools — openness matters more than expertise
