Responsible for managing the Web Personalization area of Engagement, powering customer personalization on websites and web apps.

- The Web Personalization product area includes (non-exhaustive):
- Weblayers / onsite experiences (banners, pop-ups, forms, etc.).
- Web experiments (A/B tests, variations, targeting).
- Scenario orchestration for website experiences (e.g., weblayers in scenarios ).
- Supporting components: web SDKs, targeting, frequency capping, templates, analytics.
- Your mandate is to make this stack:
- More powerful (better decisioning, targeting, personalization).
- Easier to use (for marketers, not just technical users).
- Better connected (to Engagement data, AI, and other channels).
- AI native (transforming existing approaches to new experiences).

- We are looking for a Product Manager – Web Personalization to join the Engagement product team.
- In this role, you will own the Web Personalization area of Engagement – everything that powers how our customers personalize experiences on their websites and web apps: weblayers , on‑site personalization blocks , web experiments , and the orchestration of these experiences alongside email, SMS, and mobile channels. Working in one of our Central European offices or from home on a full-time basis , you’ll become a core part of the Engagement product team.
- You will:
- Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Web Personalization.
- Partner closely with design, engineering, and GTM teams to build capabilities that:
- Make web personalization simple and powerful for marketers .
- Integrate deeply with our core data & decisioning capabilities.
- Differentiate vs. competitors in web & app personalization .
- Lead the transformation of this area into the era of AI, Agents and LLMs .
- Define and evolve the product strategy for Web Personalization aligned with Engagement’s overall vision.
- Maintain a clear roadmap for your area, balancing:
- Customer-impacting improvements.
- Strategic differentiators (e.g. AI-driven personalization, agentic orchestration).
- Technical investments (performance, scalability, UX simplification).
- Translate strategy into clear problem statements, outcomes, and success metrics .
- Run structured discovery with customers, prospects, and internal teams (CS, Sales, PS, Support) to deeply understand:
- How they run on-site personalization and experiments today.
- Where falls short vs. alternatives.
- The biggest usability and adoption blockers for web personalization.
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights to prioritize problems and validate opportunities.
- Work day-to-day with engineering, design, and data to deliver high-quality features:
- Write clear PRDs / specs and success criteria.
- Ensure usability risk is addressed via close collaboration with UX and research.
- Manage trade-offs and scope while preserving the customer value.
- Drive end-to-end delivery :
- From design → implementation → rollout → measurement → iteration.
- Ensure Web Personalization is deeply integrated into:
- Scenarios (journey builder).
- CDP capabilities (segments, events, attributes, predictions).
- Other channels (email, SMS, mobile, ads).
- Partner with other Engagement PMs to provide a unified omnichannel experience for marketers (e.g., single orchestration workspace combining web and messaging).
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Docs, Academy, and CS to:
- Shape positioning and messaging for Web Personalization.
- Create launch materials, internal enablement, and best-practice playbooks.
- Support pricing & packaging discussions for web personalization capabilities.
- Monitor adoption, usage, and funnel metrics for your features and run experiments to improve activation and long-term engagement.
- Act as the single-threaded owner for Web Personalization:
- Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and timelines to internal stakeholders.
- Represent your area in roadmap reviews, QPRs, and field-facing sessions.
- Ensure tight collaboration with:
- Engineering & Design (for delivery).
- Customer Success & Solutions (for feedback and validation).
- Sales & Product Marketing (for competitive differentiation and GTM).
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience working with web personalization, experimentation, customer engagement, or related digital experience tools in a practitioner role.
- Strong practical background in at least one of:
- Web personalization / experimentation platforms
- Marketing automation / CDP products with strong web capabilities
- Web experience / CMS / front-end tools (e.g. A/B testing tools, on-site personalization, web SDKs)
- Experience using Engagement is strongly preferred; experience with similar platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization, Dynamic Yield, Monetate, or comparable tools is also valuable.
- Experience as a product manager is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Mobile app personalization experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to translate real customer and implementation needs into clear product, use case, or solution requirements.
- Customer-centric problem solver : You can turn messy feedback into crisp problem statements. You are comfortable saying “no” and explaining trade-offs.
- Strong product discovery skills : Comfortable running interviews, validating hypotheses, and working with UX/research.
- Technical fluency : Able to discuss architecture and constraints of web SDKs, tag managers, APIs, and front-end rendering with engineers. Can work with tracking concepts (events, attributes, experiments) and understand their implications.
- Data-driven decision making : Proficient with product analytics and experimentation. Comfortable defining and tracking metrics (adoption, activation, performance, impact).
- Excellent communication & collaboration : Clear written and verbal communication in English. Able to align multiple stakeholders across Product, Engineering, CS, and GTM.
