Responsible for managing General Ledger and financial reporting for multiple German legal entities in compliance with IFRS and HGB standards.

Maintain the General Ledger for German legal entities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in line with Group accounting policies, IFRS, HGB and local statutory requirements.
Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, annual audits and other local reporting requirements.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure reconciling items are investigated and resolved.
Assist with monthly VAT returns and related tax compliance activities.
Support the global intercompany reconciliation process and collaborate with finance teams across the Group.
Contribute to system improvements and finance projects that enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

Own the General Ledger for multiple German legal entities.
Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and HGB .
Contribute to finance transformation and continuous process improvements.
Work closely with international finance teams across the Group.
University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification or active studies towards ACCA, ACA, CPA, Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerfachwirt or an equivalent qualification.
Solid knowledge of IFRS and HGB .
Experience in General Ledger Accounting or Legal Entity Accounting within a medium to large international organisation.
Experience with ERP systems; Workday Financials is a plus.
Fluent German and English.
