Drive new business acquisition and manage full sales cycle for workplace food solutions in Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • We are a small, high-impact team, moving fast, valuing ownership and constantly looking for new ideas.
  • This position is based in Brussels with a hybrid working model and will report to the Sales Lead (based in Paris).
  • The primary role of the Business Development Associate is to drive new business by engaging with corporations and positioning Deliveroo for Work as their preferred partner for workplace food solutions.
  • You will own the full sales cycle, with a strong focus on outbound prospecting, from identifying opportunities to closing deals, while working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Drive new business acquisition across target sectors in Belgium
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing to activation.
  • Proactively build and manage a strong outbound pipeline (cold outreach, LinkedIn, events, referrals)
  • Identify new opportunities and use cases (evening meals, group orders, events, gifting, etc.)
  • Develop tailored pitches and value propositions based on client needs
  • Collaborate closely with Account Management and Customer Service teams to ensure a high-quality client experience
  • Contribute to improving sales processes, tools, and go-to-market strategy
  • Track performance and maintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline in CRM

Requirements

  • Strong commercial mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven attitude
  • Experience in B2B sales (outbound experience is a strong plus)
  • Comfortable managing a full sales cycle independently
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining a structured and up-to-date pipeline
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Resilient and solution-oriented
