Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Senior Controller, the Recovery Analyst will own the process of tracking down unmatched repayments across our employer and partner network, digging into the "why" behind each one, and following through until it's resolved. This position is about closing that final stretch where automation stops, using a mix of troubleshooting and direct outreach. Given our scale, every recovered dollar has a real impact on the bottom line and this role takes real curiosity and persistence rather than a fixed playbook. You'll work closely with Finance, Customer Success, and Partner Success, and you'll be the person partners and employers talk to when something needs sorting out.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in collections, data analysis, accounting, or something comparable
  • A genuine interest in working with clients and partners, not just data
  • The instinct to keep digging when the obvious answers run out, this role lives in the last 1% that automation can't solve
  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level), including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Comfort working with high volume data where there is ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills, you can explain what's going on clearly to both partners and internal teams
  • Experience with reconciliation is a plus, but not required
  • Background in a fast-paced environment like SaaS, fintech, or a professional services firm is a bonus
  • Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of listed criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. Think you have what it takes, but not sure you check every box? Apply to the role anyways. We’d love to talk and determine together whether you could be a great fit!
