- 2–4 years' experience in a People Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and confidence managing employee relations cases with support where needed.
- Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace.
- High attention to detail and confidence preparing employment documentation and maintaining accurate HR records.
- Experience using HRIS platforms such as HiBob or others.
- A strong communicator who builds trusted relationships with managers and employees at all levels.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented and comfortable working in an environment where priorities change quickly.
- Curious about AI and technology, with an interest in using new tools to improve how People teams work.
- Ambitious, hands-on and eager to learn and grow in a high growth, fast paced enviornment.
Responsibilities
- We're hiring for an exceptional People Advisor who will be be the first point of contact for our UK business, partnering with managers and employees to deliver a high-quality People experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
- You'll own the day-to-day delivery of People support across the business, from onboarding and employee relations through to organisational changes, programmes, experience and offboarding. You'll combine operational excellence with practical advice, ensuring our People processes run smoothly, managers are well supported, and employees receive a responsive, consistent experience.
- As Teya continues to grow, you'll play an important role in improving how we work, simplifying processes and helping build a high-performing organisation.
- Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle for the UK, ensuring all People processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and with a great employee experience.
- Act as the primary People contact for employees and managers, providing practical guidance on policies, processes and day-to-day People matters.
- Manage a broad range of employee relations cases, including probation, performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance and flexible working, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
- Prepare employment documentation including contracts, contract changes, probation outcomes, performance documentation, settlement agreements, references and other People correspondence.
- Maintain accurate employee records and oversee all changes within HiBob, ensuring a high standard of data integrity and compliance.
- Produce People insights and reporting to support business decisions and identify trends across the organisation.
- Drive operational excellence by improving processes, maintaining documentation and identifying opportunities to simplify and automate manual work using technology and AI.
- Partner closely with People Partners and business leaders to deliver a consistent, commercially minded People service.
- Support organisational changes, annual People programmes and wider People initiatives as the business continues to scale.
- Lead various initiatives across the employee lifecycle, focusing on delivering an exceptional experience.
