Responsibilities

  • As a founding research scientist at Flick, you’ll help shape the future of generative media and AI-native filmmaking.
  • We’re looking for someone who can train and adapt generative models, while also having strong creative taste and intuition around cinematic visuals, storytelling, motion, and aesthetics.
  • This role sits at the intersection of research, engineering, and art.
  • You’ll work directly with founders, and filmmakers to develop the next generation of creative AI systems — starting from image models and eventually expanding into video generation.

Requirements

  • Strong background in deep learning and generative models
  • Experience training or fine-tuning diffusion, transformer, or related generative systems
  • Strong visual taste and intuition for cinematic imagery and storytelling
  • Strong engineering skills, product intuition, and startup mindset
  • Can actually make things work!
