Responsible for design, implementation and lifecycle management of enterprise physical security technologies including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and identity integrations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer networking, Information Systems or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in physical security systems engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with cameras and/or access control.
  • Experience integrating systems with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or similar environments.

Nice to have

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of network design and function.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and cloud environments.
  • Certifications in Lenel, Verkada, CCure, Genetec and Avigilon.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Physical Security Systems Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, integration, and lifecycle management of enterprise physical security technologies. This role will engage in architecture and engineering efforts across video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, perimeter security, and identity integrations, with a strong emphasis on cloud-managed systems and identity integration.
  • Design and engineer enterprise-wide physical security systems including:
  • Video Surveillance (IP-based camera systems)
  • Access Control (cloud and on-prem)
  • Intrusion Detection & Alarm Systems
  • License Plate Recognition (LPR)
  • Intercom and Visitor Management Systems
  • Architect and manage Security System environments (cameras, access control, sensors, intercoms).
  • SSO (Single Sign-On)
  • SCIM user provisioning
  • Role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Conditional Access policies
  • Help support standardized naming conventions, device deployment standards, and system documentation.
  • Ensure system scalability for multi-site/global deployments.
