Manage and execute social media presence for multiple brands in a fast-paced, hands-on role to drive customer engagement and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute social media strategies across multiple brands.
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content including captions, graphics, reels, TikToks, short-form videos, and image assets.
  • Monitor trends daily and react quickly to relevant moments, viral content, sports events, holidays, and local conversations by producing timely content instead of relying solely on scheduled posts.
  • Uphold each brand's voice while adapting messaging across different audiences.
  • Work directly with founders, general managers, and store teams to gather content and execute campaigns.
  • Manage community engagement and customer interactions.
  • Build relationships with influencers and UGC creators.
  • Monitor analytics and recommend improvements.
  • Leverage AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, Canva AI, CapCut AI, etc.) to improve content quality, increase efficiency, generate ideas, accelerate production, and streamline workflows.
  • Continuously test new content formats, platforms, and creative approaches instead of relying on repetitive posting strategies.
  • Participate in weekly marketing meetings.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on social media experience in startups, small businesses, agencies, DTC, hospitality, restaurants, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
  • Experience working in lean organizations where you personally owned execution—not simply managed vendors or internal creative teams.
  • Proven experience independently managing and growing social media accounts.

Nice to have

  • Experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or supplements/e-commerce industries.
  • Prior success independently managing content calendars, launches, and influencer projects.
  • Proficiency with standard marketing and social media tools (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, Mailchimp, Canva, Klaviyo).
  • Run basic local paid campaigns (events, promos) on platforms such as Meta and Google Ads; willingness to learn more advanced e-commerce paid media as needed.
  • Comfortable with basic paid advertising and willingness to learn advanced marketing operations.

Other

  • Job Title: Social Media Manager
  • Type : Full-Time, Remote
  • Salary: $1,600 - $2,500 (based on experience and ability to take on a broader scope of work)
  • Location: Latin America
  • Company Overview: We are a dynamic organization operating across two brands: a leading craft beer franchise with locations across Florida and an innovative e-commerce supplements company currently undergoing an exciting rebrand. Our mission is to expand our customer reach through creative, authentic, and engaging social media experiences that drive real business growth.
  • We are seeking a highly proactive, hands-on Social Media Manager who can fully own the day-to-day execution of our social presence across multiple brands.
  • This is not a traditional corporate social media role. We're looking for someone who enjoys building, creating, and executing, not simply managing calendars or coordinating with creative teams.
  • The ideal candidate thrives in small, fast-paced companies where wearing multiple hats is the norm. They are excited to experiment, capitalize on real-time opportunities, and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves to create content from scratch.
  • Success in this role requires someone who naturally says, "I'll figure it out," rather than waiting for direction or relying on specialized departments.
  • You will work directly with founders, operators, and store teams to bring brand ideas to life and help grow awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition across all channels.
  • Copywriting
  • Canva or similar design tools
  • Short-form video editing
  • Content ideation
  • Content execution
  • You should personally create content and not simply brief designers or outsource production.
  • Organic growth
  • Trend spotting
  • Short-form storytelling
  • Community engagement
  • Performance optimization
  • Ability to quickly capitalize on trending topics and real-time events
  • Loves wearing multiple hats
  • Is naturally curious and enjoys figuring things out independently
  • Moves quickly without needing detailed instructions
  • Has a strong "can-do" attitude and enjoys solving problems
  • Is comfortable making decisions and taking ownership
  • Gets excited about testing new ideas and learning continuously
  • AI is a core part of how we work. The ideal candidate actively embraces AI tools to improve productivity, creativity, research, brainstorming, editing, and content creation.
  • We're looking for someone who is excited about incorporating AI into their daily workflow—not someone who avoids or resists using it.
  • This role is best suited for builders rather than coordinators.
  • If your experience has primarily involved managing agencies, approving creative, or overseeing teams without personally creating content, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.
  • We're looking for someone who enjoys creating, experimenting, moving quickly, and making things happen.
  • Please submit:
  • Resume
  • Portfolio or social handles
  • Examples of content created and managed
  • Short introduction video (requested for shortlisted candidates)
